What are the season 1 2 3 on the home page indicating?

  I see the bars are at different levels, is that how many of the images have been viewed from different seasons?

  That's right. We posted images from seasons 1, 2, and 3 all at the same time -- in part because the cameras malfunctioned a lot during Season 1, and we didn't want to bombard folks with too many images of grass blowing in the wind. We'll do a blog post on what the seasons represent as soon as we can.
