I caught one of the camera-use-destroyers in action:
It had NOT been buried in grass by the camera setters. ;D

I started a collection of beautiful skies... sigh. I have no idea how to access other people's collections. Occasionally I stumble across one by accident. I found a great collection of bird pics that way.

I've asked 3 times how to access that kind of thing - I think no one knows how, and they don't want to admit it. A few are found by accident. 😉

Maybe we could start collecting the links in this forum.

I just started so not much out there ...
It seems it cannot correctly insert the link...aladar

The development team is working on search, collections, and tag functionality, so hopefully you'll be able to see one another's collections more easily soon.

In the meantime, when you post a photo, if you include the photo-set ID, that will enable others to pull up the set, add the photo to their own collection, and view any other collections it belongs to.
For example:
That's one of my favourite photos, and is in two collections - one of mine, and one belonging to someone else. All I did was type the image id in below the picture, and the forum software here converts the image ID into a link to that image set so others can view it directly (not just the single image embedded in this post), and also view the collections it's in, and any discussions involving the image.

by AowlanCrystal moderator in response to tirralirra's comment.
tirralirra (and some others) asked about how to see others collections
Here are a couple of my collections CSGL00001q and CSGS0000rq for examples, if you wish to see my other collections, just click on my name and scroll to near the bottom of the page and click on the collection to view, click on 'load more' to see more. to view the collections of others, just click on their name and again scroll to the bottom of the page to find their collections.another way is to click onto the search link, type in a keyword, eg Cats... into the search box and select 'collections' in TYPE (so a tick appears in the circle box) then click 'search' or just click 'collections' then 'search', then go through all the collections listed until you find one you'd like to look through.
hope this helps

ASG000sq6w is one of my favorites. How do you get the picture up like the one of a velvet monkey? I tried to click on the little picture button in the section to "create" the post, but the link doesn't work, and the picture didn't show.

OK, I just had to check how to do it: I copied the link for the image, that is the link you get when you click "view image". For this you click on the image in the discussion window (right click for PC, I think) and choose "view image". This will open the picture in a new page. The web link should start with www.snapshotserengeti.org/subjects.... etc and end with .jpg. You copy this and then come back here and click on the little image icon. A box will open and you paste in the web link there. Check with preview whether it has worked. OK, I hope this is clear, let me know if not.
Anyways, here is one of my favorite landscape pictures:
