    Is it only Equus burchelli that we would be seeing here?

    That's right! Grevyi is up in northern Kenya and isn't found in Tanzania.

    I vaguely know from reading old Gerald Durrell books that there's more than one sort of zebra, but not knowing the range of each species was vaguely trying to see if there was much difference between the individuals I was looking at through the snapshots. While of course there's individual variation, it comes as a relief that there's a reason that all these zebras are looking the same.
