No "ok" button on log-in confirmation pop-up

After I logged in I accidentally clicked the "sign out" button on the log-in confirmation pop-up message because there is no "ok" button. I then had to log in again and then click the X in the top right to close the window. Could this possibly be what broke the finish button?
