Snapshot Serengeti Talk

reedbuck being weird

  • Nye by Nye

One of my favorite images so far: http://talk.snapshotserengeti.org/#/subjects/ASG0005ukf - Why is this reedbuck (or dik dik) twisting its head all the way around like this? Is it checking out the camera? Maybe it's scratching its head against a rock we can't see?

Yeah - I had this one too. that's a bug 😃 Slow exposure and lit up we see the trail.

I know it's not a meteor b/c it's in front of the clouds and meteor "trails" have a distinct shape (amateur astronomer, astronomy educator here 😃 )
