Zorilla?

Do you see that skunk-colored object at top?
Could it be a Zorilla?Posted

Well spotted! As a complete amateur I agree with you … but it could also just be a branch. Can't wait to hear a reply from the scientists on this one. I've been real keen on seeing a zorilla.

Some image processing reveals this:
Sure looks like an animal to me, and what else could it be? I'd say zorilla 😃

On second thoughts though, does it have a hole in its head? I can see the sky where its brain should be. Hmmm.

Just found this on the net™:
"It is a very good swimmer but does not like to climb trees."

LOL @ "hole in it's head". Was actually the thing that made me think of stick too. But the light spots could also be the snout, mouth and ears.
This picture shows they often are quite light:
http://www.arkive.org/zorilla/ictonyx-striatus/image-G67941.htmlAs to climbing trees or not, I got one picture of 3 guinea fowl all in a tree! And they're described as ground dwelling birds. I suppose animals are like us people - often find ourselves in places that we're not supposed to be. 😃

Wish a scientist would comment on this one soon!

Hmm plot thickens 😃
But isn't there something quite similar almost in the middle of the pic? That thing makes me believe this is some kind of dry leaf instead.
But it really looks like a zorilla, with a hole in its head 😄

it is a leaf or branch!
Here is a nother picture from this camera, captured at another time, and the object is still there at the same position.
If it is a zorilla it is kind of petrified 😃Posted

As exciting as it would be to see a zorilla, I truly believe this one is just leaves.
