    There's definitely something interesting going on here. On the very right it looks like some sort of ungulate reared up on its hind legs, but I have no clue what the red light is.

    That's a wildebeest on the right -- the red light is eye shine of another animal; maybe another wildebeest preparing to take a short snooze?

    yes on the right 2 wildebeest, on the left the eyes of something stalking them? but probably just more eyes of wildebeest

    Yes, I've found that different animals - in the nature photos my dad takes in the Pacific Northwest USA - have wildly varying color, shape and intensity of the "red" eye effect. This one is quite impressive tho!
