The gazelle seems curious about one of the birds (btw, what are they?). Could the bird not be moving because it has chicks or eggs? And could the other one be doing the "fake broken wing" trick?

They look like ducks, I have had quite a few ducks in pictures wich seems strange to me unless there is a water sorce nearby that we cannot see.

The bird on the left is a guinea fowl. I think that the tommy is just eating. We don't have ducks but we do have Egyptian geese that can be found near the rivers and marshes.
