    Nice puzzle. I am going to guess vegetation of some sort. Maybe a type of seed being dispersed?

    I would say a moth or other flying insect. The IR 'flash' is quite slow, which is why many b/w animal night shots are blurred. So it captures about a foot of the moth's travel and several of its wingbeats!
