That's a line of wildebeest heading right. Their eyes, too, reflect the flash.

Ok - new to this! Can you tell they are wildebeest by the colour of their eyes? how do you tell the direction of travel?

If there's wildebeest in the front, it's a 98% chance the eyes in the back are also wildebeest. But you can use a program such as Ifran to zoom in really close to the eyes and make the body more viewable to tell what they belong to. It's not worth the effort to do that though, so you should generally just assume they're wildebeest unless you can see part of their body to prove your assumption wrong.
