Can anyone identify this beast?

  I said wildebeest because of the tail. But it's too thick round the hip area and appears to have straight horns, or else large ears. I wonder if there are tales of strange horse-wolf creatues in the Serengeti, the way we hear about large cats in places like Bodmin Moor...
