Belly

  At first glance, I thought this was a pregnant female, but as it walks, you can tell it's male. Is that just an engorged belly?

  Yes, in both cheetahs and lions a full belly is much more noticeable than pregnancy. When full, they risk overheating if they stay in the sun, so this guy is about to flop down under a shady tree.
  With this excellent side shot, the Cheetah Project can easily ID this individual, using pattern-recognition software.
