    I think it's either scent marking (do gazelle do that by rubbing their behind on branches?) or scratching an itch. See that dark stick-like thing just behind it on the right? I think that's the end of the branch you can see angling down towards the animal on its left. And it moves in time with the gazelle's movements.

    I'm not experienced with gazelles or anything, but it's right next to a patch of dirt...maybe it got caught in the middle of getting up after a roll in the dirt? Do gazelles do that?

    Think that black stick is actually its tail. Gazelle will squat like that to urinate as well.

    Yes, the female is peeing and the male tips his head as he walks towards her, getting a whiff of those pheromones!
