  I'd go for flying insect - the wings beat so fast, we're actually seeing the path of a load of wing beats during the moment that the camera is taking the photo. Not 100% sure of that, mind you, but that's what I'd guess at. 😃

  Looks like a metal hedge-trimmer to me, but I don't suppose they use them there!

  The first picture was captured on March 15th, the second on March 17th.
  So I think, a hedge-trimmer ist even more improbable.
