Dirt or animal?

  Now, this is either an extremely dirty lion or something altogether different - like a pile of dirt thet something is moving?

  A "pile of dirt, moving" is often a fairly accurate description of a Warthog 😉

  Yes, but this seemed very hairy? Still accept the verdict of longhaired warthog.

  I'd think warthog too --- that gross mucky hair hanging down is probably that strip of "mane" they have on their upper back that seems to hang down one side or the other...all elegant like...LOL

  It's hard to be certain what it is. Warthog is just one other plausible interpretation.

  Although, having looked at it again, isn't there a suggestion of four or five dark whiskers extending down from the top third of the image?
