    What is the wildebeest in the center doing? Is it just standing up, or is there something wrong with it?

    It seems to be eating, at least thats my guess. The others surrounding it are eating, and I don't think there really is anything else it could be doing... except for maybe giving birth..

    furious eating ! more likely scratching his head/horns on the ground ... giving birth ? seems to be a male ! 😃

    Territorial males often kneel and rub forehead against ground, thereby setting scent from the preorbital glands.
    Giving birth is typically a female activity and performed in a sitting or lying postion.
