What are these cats?

I've classified them as Wild cats, but they don't really seem normal cats...

Caracal. Distinctive features include the rich red-brown fur, big pointed ears - they have a black tuft at tip and black backs - and general lack of spots or stripes. They are bigger than a house cat.

Thanks David,
Anyway, the example photos of caracals show bigger pointed ears, and the color seemed slightly more yellowish. That's why I was confused.
