Is this a normal number of flies?

  Does this gazelle (i think) have more flies than is normal. I feel like its a lot. Especially on its face. And yes, its africa, but still.

  Sometimes during the rains there are vast swarms of flies - most annoying. I would say more flies than usual. Interestingly, the animal is a bushbuck female.
