Elephant trunk?

I don't quite get the geometry if it is. What is the field of view of the camera frames, anyway?

Looks like a close up of an elephant trunk. The wrinkly side is the underside of the trunk. Hope its not up to no good with that camera.

The cameras are placed about 3 feet/1 meter off the ground. When animals are close to the camera (as this one is, given the detail we can see in its skin), the cameras capture a part of the body about 3 feet up, which for elephants is somewhere around the middle of the body (or of the trunk, as shown here).
