Snapshot Serengeti Talk

Quite interesting

I can see a thomson's gazelle in the foreground and a tall antelope in the back to the left of the tree. There are two tan/ light colored animals in the tall grass halfway to the tree... looks like some big cats(?)

The tall animal under the tree is a Hartebeest. They spend a lot of time standing under trees like that. The two animals moving in the middle are most likely more Thomson's gazelles. When I zoom in I can just make out a black tail on the one on the left, and what might be the black band on the side of the one on the right.

Hunting/kill scenes are very rare on Snapshot Serengeti. Whenever you see prey animals standing around calmly, and indistinct animals in the vicinity are most likely to be more of the same, rather than a predator on the prowl. 😃
