Almost looks like a bird

  There is a red spot. It sort of reminds me of a bird. Any ideas?

  It looks like a bird to me also; there are some (wing?) stripes visible to the right.
  The red object could be a berry in that very strange looking plant whose twisted
  trunk(?) in the foreground looks a little like a trilobite! The bird could then be
  hunched over trying to eat the berry.
