  NO HORSES IN SERENGETI!! Honest. Some white people keep them in highland areas around Arusha and Moshi but they would not be allowed to bring them into the Park. Also, they would quickly succumb to tsetse flies and ticks. The Maasai, who don't care much about rules, have no horses, just donkeys. So you will NEVER see horses in these photos, except for zebras. This is a wildebeest, like all the others under the nearby tree.

  Didn't know if people rode horses. Thanks! Great info. I didn't see the Wildebeest under the tree the first time around.
