albino hartebeest?

The hindquarters color is appropriate but the flank and head are too light compared to the examples.
If an albino, perhaps it could also be a topi? Other ideas?Posted

I've noticed in some photos that colors seem too light. I think this is a normal hartebeest and an odd lighting effect or camera artifact.

There are always some hartebeest that have a lighter coat than others and this, coupled with some lighting issues with the cameras, would account for the light appearance. The example photos are just that, examples and should not be taken as definitive but as an aid to identification.

Can't be an albino, its got color on its tail, albinos don't have any pigment at all. Could just be a blond hartebeest, from a genetic standpoint they'd be rare but not impossible, sorta like the white lions.
