  Is there a fight between 2 males unfolding in this sequence?

  They often do fight. I can't really predict but I suspect the closer male is about to turn away from the approaching one.

  It's both. A male's aim is to get a territory where he can attract females to mate. To do this, he has to prove his superiority to other males by fighting, and then defend his territory by more fighting.
