Caracal with something in its mouth

  I guessed a bird, but I'm not sure. Any better guesses?

  Bird is as good a guess as any, too indistinct to make positive ID. Cracking shot of caracal though. In all of my travels through Africa this is the one that I have never seen, so good to see it here !!

  Wow! Great to see a Caracal. I've never seen one in Africa, and I haven't seen one here either. (I think my inner geek is surfacing. I'm trying to 'fave' at least one of each species, as well as my actual faves. Must try harder!
