Serval - differences between Gorongosa and Serengeti ?

Thanks @davidbygott for raising this question - it is fascinating . It does, at first glance, seem that the 2 populations show some difference in leg length . I have collected every serval image that I have come across on both sites and will study them .
The coat patterns here are also somewhat different from some of those in Gorongosa - again I shall compare some images 😃Posted

Tillydad, can you let us know what you find out? Really like servals.

I am nearly finished with the comparisons and will shortly make the results known . It takes a long time to check it all, and work on Gorongosa and here and carry on with some other little projects !!
Servals are fascinating and are a "barometer" species because of their place in the food chain and a healthy Serval population generally means that an area is doing well ecologically . I, too, love Servals - who couldn't love them ? 😃
