  Good catch! It's definitely a hyena -- note the sloping body posture. This camera looks like it got a bit wet in the rain and the lens fogged up, which happens sometimes.

  There are a handful of funny sloping animals -- hyenas, wildebeest, hartebeest, topi...their funny posture really helps to ID them in the darkness.
