What is this animal?

  Is this hyena carrying something with horns? Or is it other animal with tusks, that I cannot recognise?

  I would say a hyena from its ears and back but I dont know what its carrying. I thought Hyenas tended to eat stuff where they found it, not carry it off.

  Definitely a spotted hyena carrying some prey with horns/tusks. Possibly a meal of warthog. Hyenas actually often pull off a leg or large chunk of meat and run away with it.
