rubbing against camera

  • Ettina by Ettina

How do I classify the behavior of an animal that seems to be rubbing against the camera? I've been choosing 'interacting', is that correct?

We'd like to use 'interacting' only for when animals are interacting with each other, not the camera. You can choose standing or resting for this sort of behavior.

We had intended for "interacting" to be used when animals are interacting with each other, but an animal rubbing up against a camera certainly isn't feeding or resting -- so maybe interacting is the best answer!

I just put "standing" if it doesn't fit any of the other descriptions. He really is just standing, or procrastinating as we humans would call it 😛

Great. Standing is appropriate for rubbing against the camera in this case.
