Is this a hyena?

    The head and ear shape doesn't quite look like a spotted hyena to me, but maybe it's a juvenile? I put striped hyena, though it's hard to tell since we only have night shots as reference.

    That's definitely a hyena, though I would have put spotted just because they're more common.

    It is a spotted hyena. Nearly all of the hyenas we find are spotted, so when in doubt choose that.

    Heh - I had picked striped hyena as well, because of the darker face and sharper ears.
