Juvenile hartebeest?

Do hartebeest start out a darker brown, and get lighter as they get older? The horns look hartebeest shaped, and the rump in the foreground is the usual pale colour I associate with hartebeest, but the head in the photo is a much darker brown.

They start pale and end up a rich lion color. Horns are an adult hartebeest.
