Any takers as to what this is?

  We've seen a few of these, and general consensus on the part of the scientists is that they're moths (or some other flying insect) caught in the flashlight - they beat their wings pretty quickly when flying, so you see several beats in the duration of the flash and the moth travels a little distance during that time, creating this strange looking track. Looks quite other-worldly, doesn't it?
