I'm really unsure about this one, but I'm wondering if we've got a striped hyena here? What do you think?

I really wish it was! But I'm not seeing the dark throat patch that Striped Hyenas have. And I can only see spots, and no sign of any stripes at all. I think I would have very reluctantly classified it as a Spotted Hyena. It's hard to be really sure about it, though.

Ah well... I knew it was most likely wishful thinking on my part. 😃 Would have been great to have "captured" a striped hyena - haven't seen any indication that anyone has definitely identified one so far. Thanks okopho.
