I think every scientist and user here would shout "Hurrah!" if it was a striped hyena, tsering! 😃
It's actually a wildebeest. 😃 You're seeing the lower part of its neck, sloping down to the start of its chest on the right. When you see them at a distance, you don't really notice the dark stripes on their shoulder and neck - the stripes often blend in with their long mane. And the blond hair in the lower part of the image is the fringe or beard you see hanging down below their neck and head:
