That's what we think it is, yes. Kinda gross. 😃
A few other images of this have already surfaced, and I did a hunt to find as many in the sequence as I could. I was hoping it might even show the birth, but I now suspect she gave birth a short distance away, cleaned and fed the baby and left it safely hidden in the long grass, and then came to this spot under the tree to finish off the rest of hte process. I couldn't find any pictures showing the baby I'm afraid.

OK, wondered where they baby might be, as I had 3 photos but forgot how to post the entire thing to the boards. Surprised we don't see more babies than we do.
