Rock or cat?

Not sure if this is a rock or some sort of big cat

Pretty sure it's a rock or termite mound or something. I've seen a few other photos from the same camera, with exactly that same shape visible in the same position.

It's just a rock (or mound of earth), I'm afraid.

Here's a shot from the same camera on the previous day:

Actually, a termite mound, common feature of the central plains. The towers or chimneys on top often fool even experienced observers into thinking there's a cheetah or other cat perched up there!

    Oooohhh. Don't aardvarks eat termites?

They do. Where there are termites, you may see aardvarks - but only at night!

    Cool! Why only at night?

Because they are nocturnal - they sleep underground during the day.
Why? I don't know. Could be because termites are more active near the surface at night.
