    I only came across this when browsing for clarification of another image, didn't actually classify it myself. Can't quite figure it out--don't see any super obvious spots (cheetah, leopard, genet) so maybe a wildcat? Or am I seeing the size wrong and it's a young lion? Help me out here!

    That is amazing - Beautiful sequence of African wildcat, rarely seen. Its distinctive feature is its lack of distinctive features - it is gray or sandy and vaguely spotty, always has chestnut backs of ears but you can't see that here. It just looks like a generic cat!
