too blurry to identify for sure?

  I worked through the 'looks like' parts, but didn't feel secure in calling it an eland (my best guess). What do you do about "I honestly can't tell" situations? I had another one that was an extreme closeup of a butt that I eventually decided was probably an elephant.

  Telophase is right. But if you wanted to know, the animals in photo are buffalo. Bulky, overall dark colour, with heads carried low - eland normally hold heads up while moving.
