Leopard question

Is it unusual to see leopards on the ground like this? Are they vulnerable only when they have a kill?

Leopards spend a lot of time on the ground, and mainly hunt on the ground. They may rest in trees, or on rocks, or in thickets. When they have a large kill they take it up a tree to get away from other competitors such as hyenas and lions.
