What the heck? The two in the back look like they could be wildebeast, but what the heck is the thing in the foreground? It almost looks like a donkey or mule, do the locals keep those as well as cattle?

On second look, could it be a baby wildebeast? Its ears look awful long though....

Yes, a youngster. They tend to be more reddish in colour. Has got the start of its horns, though, so not too young.
