Glowing eyes in the dark

    Any tips on how we ID pairs of glowing eyes? In this case I called the gray thing on the right "buffalo" (with considerable doubt), but I have no idea how to ID the eyes.

    Buffalo looks like a good guess to me. As for the eyes, if you can ID a foreground animal, they are most likely more of the same, unless you see characteristics that make you think otherwise. The foreground animal looks to be passing to the right of the camera, and the eyes look like they are on the same path, supporting that they are more buffalo.

    Paired spots like these are clearly eyes, so I'd count them as 2 extra buffalo. Other times you see lots of single spots, and sometimes those are bits of grass catching the light, so I only count them if I'm pretty sure there's an animal attached. 😃
