Pic not really empty

  • girlziggy by girlziggy

Just because a pic looks empty it may not be. If there is nothing obvious right in front of the camera (grass, weeds) animate the 3 pic sequence.

I suggest you always animate the sequence. Sometimes you'll have obvious animals standing in the 'default' frame, but if you check the other two, you'll also see something like a bird swooping in, so you always want to look at all the pics in every sequence. 😃

I always animate... a bird flying by often only appears in one frame.

    Good advice Girlziggy and Sisige!
It is easy, more so when you first start,(especially if been on for a few hours! ) to have look at the 'Default' pic, see nothing and especially if seen that camera view several times before with 'nothing' there and think nothing will be there again, so click 'nothing there' and not click play. But something could have just been visible in one frame, ie a lion paw/ear popping up slightly to trigger the camera, but be out of view before image set is took, or only one in set has the image, or a speeding gazelle, very close to camera you might only get a 'tail' end view in first of sequence..

As Sisige mention about the birds swooping in. There have been some great 'photo bomb' birds etc.. to prove the point of not to forget to press play.
