Snapshot Serengeti Talk

What's going on in this series?

The figures in the center look like a person walking up to a horse and rider. Especially the last frame when it looks like an arm reaching for the horses head. Could it be? Then would the figures to the left of them also be horses? What else could this be?

I don't think it's a person riding. Or then a very small person... And ony really daft people would ride an herbivore into a carnivore-filled place. And since there are no horses in the serengeti (said the moderators), I guess it's just zebras, a bird, and a weird perspective.

I think the presumed person is another animal facing us. The position of "the rider" doesn't stay steady on the animal. It seems to be another animal standing perpendicular. You are seeing neck/head of the animal standing behind the moving animal.

I agree. However, it does look rather surprising!
