I know it is an animal but I have no idea what it is or even what part of the beast it is. I've had to mark it as no animals because I haven't been able to make even the slightest guess.

Looks like a muzzle leaning over the camera. Impossible to say for sure!

It is the tail feathers of a bird perched on the camera housing and we see this fairly regularly . There is no way of knowing which species it is, so it can only be classified as #bird-other 😃
