Young?

  The animal in the far right distance has a shape somewhat like a hyena but is very dark. Not sure if it is a young Wildebeest, the legs look too thick. Ideas?

  Not a young gnu. It does, as you say, look like a hyena - head is large but maybe carrying something - or possibly warthog with head up.
