Help needed to identify whose ear this is

  I have no idea whose ear this is but I'd love to know. I have guessed jackal but suspect I am way off. Any help much appreciated

  It's a warthog. Ears are triangular, mounted to side of head and mostly bare with long bristles rather than the fur a jackal would have. Also in the pics you can see the hog's long coarse mane.

  @mtydeman I promise it will come in time! You'd be surprised how much you can tell about an animal just from snippets of their ears and rumps...
