What is this little critter?

  • Babyballerina by Babyballerina

Hello, I am new. What is this creature? I cannot decide. It is the shape of a honey badger (like a large weasel) but completely the wrong colour. Tail too thick for mongoose? Ears and body shape not cat or dog-like. Any ideas? I can see it has been tagged as mongoose and bat eared fox. Which is correct? Thank you for assisting me.

It is a white-tailed mongoose, the second photo on the Mongoose ID page. The white tail is distinctive and we probably see more of them than any other kind of mongoose, in these photos.

Thank you. I 'm sorry I labelled it incorrectly.
