Is this one animal?

Is this an animal eating another? Deer-like leg but not deer-like fur.

The leg is short and thick, not antelope-like - resembles a buffalo leg, but the body is too low - unless it is the neck of another buff reaching in front of the leg's owner? I'd almost be tempted to say bushpig - they occur in Serengeti but my search for sightings yielded none. @tillydad what say you?

It is slightly baffling . The leg is bovine in appearance and the body hair is going the right way for it to belong to the same animal as the leg, but it is, as you rightly say, very low slung for a buffalo . I am not happy with it being a bushpig, their stomachs are below the camera level . It must somehow be a buffalo, but not entirely convinced of that !!
Sorry not to be of more use 😃
