It's a Thomson's gazelle. A lion would stand taller relative to camera, so you would more likely see its flank or chest than its back. Also note the sharp boundary between the dark tan color of back and the paler color on flank - that is found in tommies but not lions. And the tommy in the background is not interested - if this were a lion, he'd be staring at it, or gone!
