Counting animals with different behaviours

  • bob63 by bob63

Hi guys, I'd like some advice about classifying/ counting a group of animals, for instance 6 wildebeest, when 1 is resting, 3 are standing eating, and 2 are moving/ walking. Do I classify them as wildebeest, 6, standing, eating, moving? or does each behaviour count extra? Thanks.

    Hi bob63,

When there are group of same species, we don't need to count their different behaviours separately.
We mark total number, all their behaviours, mark 'Young present' if there are young among them, then 'Identify' .

i.e. 6 wildebeest, resting, standing, eating, moving

Then do the same with all possible different species in capture 😃
